Unveiling of Giulio and Sons New Menu
Just 2 months back, I was excited to share with all of you the news that Giulio and Sons (located in the Adoba Dearborn Hotel) had recently hired a new Head Chef. It is with equal excitement that I am proud to announce Chef Gabriel Vera has been joined by Chef Byron Payne Mills, the new sous chef. Together they are tackling an impressive new menu that sets them truly apart from other restaurants in the area. If I already wasn’t such a fan of Giulio and Sons I would be now. Every time I dine in the restaurant, I find even more to love and the new menu has given me so much to looked forward to. I was able to enjoy the unveiling of the new menu with a few local Michigan Bloggers and together we are going to share our dinner experience.
Our Sampling Menu from Giulio and Sons
I want to point out that every meal at Giulio and Sons starts out with a delicious garlic bread that sets the tone for the course of the dinner. I am going to jump ahead to the 4th course and at the end I will list the links to the other bloggers who attended to get a sneak peak at the courses they covered.
The 4th course was the Parmigiano Chicken Bianco with home-made linguini, double cream sauce and pistachio pesto. All of the pasta served at Giulio and Sons is made fresh on site and you can taste the quality in each pasta. The sauce was thick and rich which is the only way to enjoy a cream sauce fully. I was saving room for dessert that I had the remainder of this dish set aside to take home. My husband claimed it once I arrived home and truly enjoyed every last bite, he did not leave one crumb or speck of sauce on his plate.
We finished off our meal with a wonderful bounty of desserts featured on the Giulio and Sons Dessert Bar. The picture above showcases only a few of the desserts featured. One of the must have desserts at every visit is the Bread Pudding topped with delicious Hot Fudge Sauce (not pictured). Choose your favorite dessert or pick a plate of favorites, whatever you choose you can’t go wrong with these delicious sweets made fresh on site at Giulio and Sons.

OMG!! All of this looks so delicious…I wish we had one in our area. I will remember them when we are in the Michigan area.
I love this restaurant! Now I need to take my husband, I know he would enjoy it as well. Everything was so good. My only regret is that I didn’t leave MORE room for dessert!
That looks delicious! I will have to check it out soon! I am a sucker for Caprese.
I love all the new options for vegetarians! They all look so delicious!
All of this looks fantastic. I have never been there. Sounds like a great place for a date night.
Lindsey — it really is and my daughter even loves eating there so the food is still down to earth!
Oh man, those all look delicious! Can’t wait to try them out eventually :).
Looks like a good new menu, although I’m kind of partial to the old menu. Might have to make it up there again for some more great treats and to meet the new chef!
