I will be attending this trip courtesy of Disney and my flight, lodging, and meals will be covered. However, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own!
I am Headed to the Disney Pixar COCO Event
I am super excited to share the great news that I will be heading to San Francisco August 2nd – 4th for the Pixar COCO Event. I will be joining 25 other bloggers for a press event at the Pixar Animation Studios for the upcoming animated film, COCO. I have been excited about this animated film, since I saw the first movie trailer. I can’t wait to share all the insider information with you, so make sure you are following along on social media with #PixarCocoEvent.
COCO tells the story of Miguel, an aspiring musician who despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history. COCO is directed by Lee Unkrich, co-directed by Adrian Molina and produced by Darla K. Anderson .
COCO will be in theaters on November 22, 2017!
The fabulous event kicks off on the 2nd with a reception at Pixar where we will get to see footage from COCO. The next day, we will be head back to Pixar and attend a press day for COCO including an interview with Director Lee Unkrich who was the director of Toy Story 3 and won an Oscar. While we are there we will also get to meet COCO Composer Michael Giacchino, who won an Oscar for Best Original Score Oscar for UP. Along with these two talented individuals we will also get to meet Writer and Co-Director Adrian Molina, Producer Darla K. Anderson and various animators! If you have any burning questions, that you want answered leave them in the comment section below, so I can ask them.
After our busy day of interviews, we will be relaxing overlooking the San Francisco Bay at Trader Vic’s Emeryville. I am super excited about getting to know my fellow bloggers a little better and relaxing after a busy day is the perfect way to do it. Not only does the view from Trader Vic’s look stunning but the food sounds absolutely divine. I am getting hungry just thinking about it.
Before we head home on the 4th, we get to visit The Walt Disney Family Museum. I am super excited for this glimpse into the story of the man who started it all, Walt Disney.
I will be sharing all the great information during and after my trip on the blog and social media, so make sure you are following along.
