How to Unwind When Your Brain is Like a Top
We’ve all felt mentally wound up from time to time. Maybe you’re trying to get some sleep, yet your brain is playing a concert. Perhaps you’re trying to work, but your brain is shooting fireworks. Stress, anxiety, and sometimes just mental randomness can be to blame for feeling like this. When it feels like there is no way to tackle this sensation, there is hope. Here are some ways you can calm yourself.

Breathe out through your mouth, breathe in through your nose for four seconds, hold it for seven, and exhale for eight. Repeat. This can help calm you down and some swear by its sedative properties.
