How to Create a Holiday Coffee Bar
& Sugar Cookie Caramel Latte Recipe
I love gathering with friends and family during the holidays and with the temperatures dropping, everyone loves to warm up with a warm cup of coffee. An easy way to help guests warm up and relax is by creating a Holiday Coffee Bar. A Holiday Coffee Bar allows your guests to help themselves and create their cup of coffee their way. I have some simple tips and a delicious latte recipe to help you create a fabulous Holiday Coffee Bar for your guests.
Before you can begin putting together your Holiday Coffee Bar, you need to decide where you will be setting it up. Select an area in your home that is convenient for your guests without blocking traffic flow in your home. A nook in the kitchen with ample access or a buffet/table top are two good locations. Once you have the location selected, plan simple holiday decorations to make it festive and match the rest of your holiday home decor. I don’t like washing linens and find vinyl reusable tablecloths are easy to clean up spills that are bound to happen. Make sure you leave enough room for the ingredients you will need for your coffee bar.
I found an adorable themed tablecloth at Target when I stopped by to pick up some holiday decorations and take advantage of the fabulous Cartwheel offer to save 5% on Folgers® Coffee and a variety of coffee creamers.
Provide your guests with a minimum of 2 holiday flavored coffee creamers and 1 regular flavored coffee creamer. My favorites are International Delight® Frosted Sugar Cookie, International Delight® White Chocolate Raspberry Creamer,Simply Pure® Caramel or Vanilla Creamer, and Silk® Almond Vanilla Creamer (for those that are lactose intolerant.)
To add your own special tough to your Holiday Coffee Bar, create a Signature Coffee Drink. This Sugar Cookie Caramel Latte is simple yet packs a delicious holiday flavor. Don’t worry about recreating these for each of your guests. Print out your Signature Coffee Drink recipe on cardstock and display them on your coffee bar. Encourage your guests to take a copy home so they can recreate your signature coffee drink at home. I have provided you with a printable copy of my recipe. Click on the recipe card to download and print it out.
Get additional inspiration with these simple holiday ways to make your coffee delicious.
Make sure that you have the extra ingredients for your signature drinks. This can include whipped cream, caramel and/or chocolate syrup, caramel and/or chocolate chips, and sweetener options.
Set up your coffee maker in the coffee bar area, along with your coffee mugs (one mug for each guest),coffee stirrers, creamer options, and extra ingredients. Brew your coffee right before the guests arrive and keep your Folgers® Red Can Classic Roast Coffee near the coffee bar so you can easily make more coffee as needed.
These simple tips will help you create a fabulous Holiday Coffee Bar and guests will love the Sugar Cookie Caramel Latte. Holiday gatherings don’t have to be stressful and gathering together to celebrate and enjoy delicious coffee drinks are a great way to stay warm and destress during the holiday season.
