Elf the Musical at the Fox Theatre & Giveaway
In less than two months, Metro Detroiters will have the chance to see the Broadway musical Elf at the Fox Theatre in Detroit. NETworks Presentations, LLC, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures and Unique Features are bringing this wonderful musical from Tuesday, November 20 through Sunday, November 25 as part of the Fox Theatre Series.
I love the film that preceded the musical and the chance to see it on stage is amazing. That is why I am so happy to offer one lucky reader a chance at winning two tickets for opening night. This will be one show you won’t want to miss and is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season.
Elf the Musical is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. This modern-day Christmas classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner Elf.

The production will feature direction by Sam Scalamoni and choreography by Connor Gallagher.

It cracks me up the kinds of things Buddy likes to “cook” and eat! He has an even bigger sweet tooth than I do! Haha!
I love the whole movie! It’s a good one.
Our family has watched the movie many times because it’s so funny! I got a kick out of Buddy’s recipes and what he makes and eats. He has an even bigger sweet tooth than me!
I love this movie!! My favorite part would have to be when he bonds with his little brother and the decorate the apartment together
I do not think I have watched it.
We have watched Elf many many times! I love the snowball fight in the park!
I have seen it numerous times! It’s one of my favorite Christmas movies.
My kids and I always use the line “You’re not the real Santa, you smell like beef and cheese!”
My favorite part of the movie is when he stayed up decorating the store. It was so beautiful.
When buddy decorates the toy display
Yes, I love the movie Elf. I think my favorite part is the ending, but I love the whole movie.
I love the snowball fight in the park! Reminds me of when I was a kid and the entire neighborhood would have a snow ball fight.
I have seen the movie, but my kids absolutely love it! So much of it is so funny but I love the part when they say Santa is coming and he freaks out. I would love to take my kids to see this!
I love how Buddy decorated the toy store display
Yes I have seen elf and my favorite scene is when he gets excited that Santa is coming to the store.
Yes! My whole family LOVES Elf the movie and our favorite parts are far too many to mention, but certainly every single funny one with Will Ferrell in them. It’s not only hilarious, it’s sweet and endearing and just so much fun and I always love musicals or live Broadway shows better than even my favorite movies so that factor makes it twice as good.
Oh my gosh, we’d be full of big smiles if we won and “Smiling is our favorite!” .. just like Buddy!
