One of my favorite recipes to whip up and enjoy during the holidays is an Easy Hot Taco Dip. It is always a hit with friends and family but, thanks to frequent heartburn, I often have to pass on indulging in this delicious goodness. Frequent heartburn has kept me from enjoying my favorite indulgences for too long. Easy Hot Taco Dip Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 1/2 pounds Taco Meat
- 8 oz Colby Jack Cheese
- 2 cups of Salsa
- 16 oz can Refried Beans
- 1 can Black Olive, Chopped
- 1 large bag of Tortilla Chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- While oven is heating up, prepare the taco meat.
- In 8 inch square baking dish, spread cream cheese on bottom of baking dish.**
- Top with refried beans and taco meat.
- Pour Salsa on top of taco meat and top with chopped black olives.
- Spread the shredded cheese on top.
- Bake in oven, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes until cheese is completely melted.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips.
** You can create individual dip cups by layering the ingredients in ramkins and baking in oven on a cookie sheet.**
