East Tennessee Food Festival Kicks Off
2016 Knoxville Restaurant Week
Knoxville Restaurant Week is February 28th – March 4th and to kick off the event US Foods is hosting the East Tennessee Food Festival on February 28th at the Knoxville Convention Center. The Food Festival will feature over 20 restaurants offering samples of their greatest creations. Restaurants will participate in categories of their choice including, fine dining, casual dining, ethnic dining, and desserts. Winners for each category will be determined by the public. During the Food Festival, four local chefs will compete in a timed event on center stage. The heat will be on as the chefs prepare a meal from the pre-selected pantry provided by US FOODS and a secret ingredient provided by Second Harvest.

General admission for the event is only $25 and all proceeds will go to Second Harvest.
The 2016 Knoxville Restaurant Week will provide foodies with an opportunity to enjoy three-Course meals at a fixed price of $30 or $40 at participating local restaurants. New restaurants will be offering a percentage to be donated to Second Harvest instead of a fixed menu. It is strongly recommended to make your reservations early to be guaranteed a spot at your favorite restaurants.
