A BAD MOMS CHRISTMAS Movie Review
Every mom has those days when enough is enough and you reach your breaking point and just let it all go. In popular Bad Moms fashion we welcome back out three favorite under-appreciated and over-burdened moms as they decide to celebrate the holidays their way. This time they have more to deal with than their immediate family as their mothers arrive to celebrate the holiday with them. The movie takes a comedic look at the mother-daughter relationship as they celebrate the holidays together.
Even though this is a follow up film to BAD MOMS, the story is slightly different and doesn’t focus as much on how underserved and guilt ridden moms can be for not meeting standards they are placing on themselves. The heroines have already decided to not go crazy this Christmas but they are pushed to the point when their own well-meaning mothers arrive to spend the season with them. If you liked BAD MOMS, this film should appeal to you as well and will provide a fun look at how crazy the holidays can be with family.
Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn have a phenomenal on-screen chemistry that makes them the perfect trio to represent the frustrated “middle-class” mom who is trying to just make it through the holidays.
Movie Synopsis: A BAD MOMS CHRISTMAS follows our three under-appreciated and over-burdened women as they rebel against the challenges and expectations of the Super Bowl for moms: Christmas. And if creating a more perfect holiday for their families wasn’t hard enough, they have to do all of that while hosting and entertaining their own mothers. By the end of the journey, our moms will redefine how to make the holidays special for all and discover a closer relationship with their mothers.
A BAD MOMS CHRISTMAS is rated R due to the foul language, sexual content, drinking, and drugs and I would not recommend it for anyone under 18. To get a more in-depth review of the movie you can check out Common Sense Media to make your own decision regarding allowing teenagers to see the film.
