Printable “Thankful” Thanksgiving List

The month of November and the Thanksgiving holiday seem to make everyone a little more thankful for the things that they have. I think this time of year reminds people to stop and look at the things they have instead of the things they don’t have. Many families gather together on Thanksgiving and will sometimes share the things they are most thankful for. This Thanksgiving take it a step further with this FREE printable “Thankful” Thanksgiving List.

This list will have you and your family writing out the things you are thankful for by using the letters in “Thanksgiving.” Right one word or phrase on each line and make sure it starts with the correct letter. This is a fun way to help everyone focus on the things that mean the most to them. This is simple enough that even the kids can get involved. When everyone is done, take turns sharing your answers.

This is also a great activity to have kids complete and save as a keepsake. It is always fun to look back at the things they said when they were younger. Make sure to record their name and year on the back so you can remember when it was done.

I’d love to print some of these for the grand kids. I’m in the process of moving so I’m going to have Thanksgiving dinner a little late this year and I could give this to them to fill out before that time comes. I’d love to see what they are thankful for.

What a great printable! We are doing the same thing for November except we write one thing we are thankful for each day and put it in a little mailbox by our fireplace. On thanksgiving day the kids will read their pieces of paper at dinner time.

What a sweet little idea! Reminds me of when I was a child and every night my mum and dad would ask us what was the best part of our day. Always good to find the positives.
