I don’t know about you, but where I am from in the south, Football is always a big deal! With the Bowl season upon us, millions of families enjoy football games together every week. For parents who want their preschoolers to learn the fundamentals in order to enjoy the game, a new app and book called Let’s Play Football provides the hottest ticket!

Created by two dad-coaches, Let’s Play Football is a story- and character-based picture book which works hand in hand with a limited-time FREE APP. Together, the book and app introduce the fundamentals of football to kids ages 3 to 6 (and their parents). This is the first of a planned “Let’s Play Sports” series of media products for kids and families. For a limited time, the app is available for free from iTunes.

The Let’s Play Football story focuses on a papa bear, his young cub and their passion for their favorite team, the Bears. The father-son journey takes them from training camp through game day as they learn together the rules of the sport and the culture of the game. Award-winning illustrators help bring the story to life with colorful and humorous interpretations of the world of football, offering lessons of strategy and sportsmanship that transcend the playing field. The beary-good players’ names and personalities will be familiar to football fans, and pro ESPN football announcer Ron Jaworski narrates the action-packed story, and Merrill Reese, the radio voice of the Philadelphia Eagles, provides the energetic play-by-play announcement as the fans go crazy for their favorite team, in the iOS app edition.

Make sure your kids are Super Bowl ready with this fun story and app!
