I fondly remember the original film and was delighted by this re-imagining. It was easy to forget that this is an animated film as you followed Mowgli along on his adventure to discover who he really is. The animation is so realistic and the detail that they have went into is amazing. Watching the fire in one of the scenes was as realistic as watching a fire burn in real life (minus the heat.) Without giving away too much information, the story follows Mowgli as he (and the animals who raised him) learn that being human isn’t always a bad thing. Mowgli is played by, newcomer, Neel Sethi and he does a tremendous job portraying Mowgli. You don’t even know that he did his acting on a green screen and with puppets.

You can get an inside look at the creation of The Jungle Book, see Neel Sethi’s journey to the big screen, and more with the bonus features that are included on the Blu-Ray  & Digital HD. Discover what features are included below.
