I received the vehicle described in this post for review from DriveSTI. However, all ideas and opinions are 100% my own.

 Hyundai Elantra Limited 1

We own an SUV due to my husband’s height and back problems. It has its advantages with 2 kids and our busy lifestyle but I miss the days of owning a car. There is something about being able to slip into crowded parking spaces and feel like I am zipping around town. That is why I was so excited when I got the chance to spend a week driving a Hyundai Elantra Limited. I spent the week driving it around town doing my normal day to day chores and I even took it for a longer trip for a girl’s weekend getaway. This gave me the chance to see how it performed over long distances as well as quick trips to the store.

Overall I was super impressed by the get up and go that the Hyundai Elantra Limited offered. Plus it was super comfortable for me as the driver and for my passengers (even on our 2 hour drive for our getaway.) The space that surprised me the most was the trunk of they Hyundai Elantra. From the outside it did not look big at all. Once the trunk lid opened, I was shocked at how much room there actually was. We were able to put 3 people’s luggage, including pillows and blankets, and still had room left over. It was also perfect when shopping and I never needed to put anything in the back seat. The Hyundai Elantra has great gas mileage for highway driving as well as for the short city trips that are taken every day (37  MPG highway/27 MPG city for an average of 31 MPG). We live in Michigan and we were enjoying a snowfall while I was test driving the Elantra. After spending most of my winters driving an SUV, I was impressed with the handling by the Elantra. I could easily see myself driving it during a winter here in Michigan and being comfortable even during a snowstorm.
