The Gospel of Mark DVD Review and GiveawayThe Gospel of Mark

For many people reading and understanding the Bible can be challenging. This is true for new or seasoned believers. I don’t believe in starting at one end and reading straight through to the other because it can be challenging and there are sections that although informational can be overwhelming and dry. One of the great places to start is with the Gospels. All four gospels center around Jesus but Mark does not have the genealogies like Matthew and Luke. This makes it an easier read for new believers.

If you are someone who gets distracted while reading or who learns better seeing and hearing things, you will want to check out this new DVD on The Gospel of Mark. This is the first word-for-word adaptation that uses the Gospel narrative as its script. It brings the scripture alive with the story of Jesus and all he did while here on earth. This movie is also a great resource for younger audiences who may get bored with just listening to the scriptures being read. My husband found it to be a great study as he watched it while reading along with the scripture in his Bible.

The Gospel of Mark DVD is now available at Walmart and on Digital HD and On Demand from Lionsgate.

According to The Gospel of Mark, Jesus is a heroic man of action, an exorcist, healer, and miracle worker — the Son of God who keeps his identity secret. This critically acclaimed, epic production — five years in the making — is based on the latest theological, historical, and archaeological research, and offers an unforgettable, highly authentic telling of the Jesus story — ending with the empty tomb, a promise to meet again in Galilee, and Jesus’s instructions to spread the good news of the resurrection.
