How to Create a Game Night Relief Basket

One of my daughter’s favorite things to do together is have family game night. This is something she has enjoyed doing since she was little and she has been known to beg us until we give in and join her at the table. Recently, her love for family game night has been overshadowed by monthly menstrual pain. As a parent, I don’t like when my daughter is in pain but I also don’t like that she feels like her life has to be put on hold for a week every month. I wanted my daughter to get back to family game night, so I decided to create a special Game Night Relief Basket for her to help her feel comfortable and get some relief this month.

One of the biggest challenges when helping my daughter gain relief from monthly menstrual pain is what to give her to help with the back pain and headache that so often accompany the menstural cramps. I don’t like to give her medication that she doesn’t need so I was intrigued when I heard about Advil® Menstrual Pain. I learned that Advil® Menstrual Pain is the #1 Doctor recommended brand for menstrual pain. It is easy to swallow and is caffeine-free and antihistamine-free (Use as directed.) This seemed like the perfect choice to help her say good-bye to her monthly menstrual pain so it went on the list of items to include in her Game Night Relief Basket.

With the thought of reviving family game night, I headed out to my local Walmart with my list of items to complete her game night relief basket. I made sure I stopped in the pain reliever aisle to pick up a box of Advil® Menstrual Pain.

My list included several of her favorite types of candy, chocolate and more. To put together your own Game Night Relief Box for the teenager in your life, use the list below to get your started on what to include.

When I got home, I arranged all the items in a box for her and presented it to her along with printable reward/chore coupons. These coupons are a great way to show her I care without spending any money. They are hers to use when she would like and make a great gift on their own. You can download a free copy of these coupons below.

I let her know that the Advil® Menstrual Pain would help treat her menstrual pain without the side effects of other medications (when used as directed.) Soon enough we had a chance to put it to the test and I can say that she didn’t miss a family game night. Not only did she enjoy all the special gifts in the box, she was happy that she was able to get back to her normal routine. Now she won’t be getting a Game Night Relief Basket every month but she will always have Advil® Menstrual Pain on hand to help keep her do the things she loves no matter what time of the month it is.

I’m not sure if Advil Menstrual Pain is available here in our local drugstores. To relieve menstrual cramps, we usually use another aspirin or another pain reliever. We also place heating pads on the lower back, legs, and abdomen. Comfy soft pajamas are a must-have.

We have always enjoyed playing board games. Both daughter and I will enjoy having a little relief. I guess I’ve overlooked this product at the store. Off to find a box now.

I need this basket of stuff right now. I love the candle, and the chocolate and could use the Advil. I’d also like to cuddle up in a warm blanket after my nails are done.

Being a dude, I don’t suffer from this. But being a husband I do my best to help my wife whenever I can. This is a great idea and I know my wife will appreciate it.

Cramps are rough. I thought after I had kids it would get better but it has gotten worse. Advil Menstrual Pain pills are my go to during that time of the month. Great gift basket idea for your daughter. I would enjoy it too!

I’m sure any teen girl would enjoy this basket. My husband is a board game lover (though I lovingly refer to them as “bored” games). I know my kids will grow up with board games and definitely have a good time with him.
